Identity-Driven Incident Response Workshop - Atlanta
By Lake High School Class of 1983
Date and time
Wednesday, December 4, 2019 · 9am - 12:30pm EST
Location
JW Marriott Buckhead
3300 Lenox Road NE Atlanta Room Atlanta, GA 30326Description
Join us on Wednesday, December 4 for a hands-on RSA Identity Workshop that will show you how essential identity is to incident response (IR).
Critical to protecting today’s diverse endpoints, identity management naturally generates data about user access, authorization, and actions. But many organizations don’t realize that this same identity data, when tied to security event and log data, provides vital context that can speed incident detection, response, and remediation.
In this afternoon workshop designed for all levels of security professionals, RSA’s Alex Coco and Larry Hammond lead an agenda that reinforces the attendees’ practical understanding of an identity-driven security defense through a mix of discussion and compelling, hands-on “attacker vs. security staff” use case reenactments.
See for yourself where identity and incident response intersect to elevate the organization’s level of risk management maturity.
RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE: This is an educational and hands on workshop. Knowledge of network protocols is required.
CPE CREDITS: This workshop is eligible for 3 CPE credits. Certificates will be passed out at the conclusion of the workshop.
